This week Te Waka Ako did the Rugby world cup slideshow for reading. It was about Japan at first and about the Islands of Japan, you had to make 10 facts about the Island you choose. The one I chose was Honshu, apparently I had 5 facts about Honshu because  there weren't many facts about Honshu. The first slide about Japan Said something like this "Japan is an Island country in East Asia" and then more jazz about the island! oh you wanna hear my facts? its not much! I just told you tt! well- fine! fact #1 ~ Most of Japans Milk and Silk Tea is made from Honshu. Fact #2 ~ Honshu is the biggest island in Japan. Fact #3 ~ Honshu is regarded as the Japanese mainland. Fact #4 ~ An Earthquake damaged 93 dams in Honshu.
And lastly Fact #5 ~ It also served as an obstacle for the Japanese to invade China. That's all the fact's I have. I'm gonna move onto the Schedule. We also had to create a Rugby World Cup Schedule we also had to include each round which is A, B, C and D. The winners and score for each game. I also added a couple of things that weren't on the list.

well not a couple. I guess. Anyway lets not worry about that Schedule lets change the subject. Oh I got nothing! I mean not now. Thank you for reading my blog I hope you enjoyed it! Bye!

Pillow day

                    Pillow day for the Seniors

Hello bloggers! In Te Waka Ako we had pillow day with Toutouwai. The seniors had to bring pillows for a good sleep during class. And for pillow designs... What we had to do is make a design in our art books with a quote in a language that you speak in like French, Spanish, Te reo or Russian! I chose a Harry Potter theme pillow in the shape of a witch hat or a light blob that says, "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light." The design I wanted to go with was black and purple squares. 

After that we went to the Duffy assembly! Robert Rakete was our visitor. He told us that he was also on the radio and what made him love books. He even told us how he went on The Wiggles. It was because he went on the radio and someone called him and asked if he could sing a song for The Wiggles on a show. He even told us how hard it was performing on stage. After assembly we got to read our books with Toutouwai. I read with Gabriel. It was fun having my pillow at school. I was tired when I woke up from the bell.

Film Festival

In Term 3 we made movies for the Ako Hiko Film Festival. In our group for the Film Festival movie it was pretty boring! Oh I'll tell ya! I didn't even get to film anything! Oh and if you didn't know, our film is called "The Police Hero's" our cast was pretty serious and wanted it to be perfect. Our cast was Zion, Walid, Teuila, Faith and Leilah. We had to use the green screen a couple of times. We couldn't find these places in our school. The other boys used it mostly for the delivering thing film. Ours wasn't that good and in detail but we tried to make it look real. And finally! The hard parts! The hard parts were the angels for the film. When we tried to film somewhere it appeared that the filmer was in the scene. So we just filmed it like bad directors. My favorite part of the film is when I got chased by the boys as a prisoner. Camp at The Crossing

Hello Bloggers! I hope you have found this blog, because this blog is about everything fun you could ever think of!

First lets start off by leaving the school grounds. When everyone got there we started settling into our colour groups, There was Red, Yellow, Turquoise, blue, orange, pink, purple and green! There were 2 buses for the 8 groups, 4 groups in each bus. Should we carry on with the crossing? Once we got to the crossing, we had to unpack everything and had to make our beds, Did I mention that there was a game room? Dinning room? No? Well I'll start with the gaming room! in the gaming room there was a pool game, ping pong/table tennis, draw of games and a secret movie room hiding in the draws. I'll explain the rest later, we went to Hamilton gardens, to do a challenge and a lunch break, The colour pink won the challenge. In the bus some peopled played some hand games and some started singing to the music that was played, our bus driver was cool. He let us choose songs on his phone. And some people fell asleep during the long drive. My favourite place was AC baths, There were a bombing isle but we couldn't push, flip or do gorillas, There was also a Tarzan rope, red slide and pool flooties. Me and my friend Callum was in the shallow section, I told him we could bomb off the isle but he was to scared. So I jumped and splashed him with water. After we went out of the pool's we had American hot dogs and either brownies or cookies. I choose brownies and I had the chocolate brownie, it had little chunks of chocolate inside them. It tasted so sweet, better than a cookie! The Tarzan rope was my favourite thing to go on! I shall continue with my second favourite place! Mt Ruapehu! We went to Happy valley to ski and snowboard. But since I wasn't allowed to ski or snowboard I got to sled! My mum knew how cold I was out in the snow, so she told me to come inside the cafe and buy some chips and hot chocolate's. I had 2 because I was sick and my mum (Susan) had 1 because she was used to the cold. My mum didn't finish her drink so she let me have it, So that makes me have..... 3 hot chocolates and 2 large chips with sour cream and wedges! And boy did something come out... Pooowee! We also made heaps of snowballs and snowmen! Later on we went on the Gondola and went up to the top the mountain! 
My favorite part was Dinner and Dessert because... why not! And also because it tasted good. my favourite dinner was the butter chicken and The nacho's. My favourite dessert was the ice cream with donuts and chocolate syrup!

Cross-Country

On Wednesday the 11th of September  it was Cross-country for Waikowhai Primary School. I'll tell you what us year 5's did! First we got to chill-out and play games. We got to play Somakalo and eat brownies or ice blocks. Next we got to do skipping! My favorite part was when I could do more jump ropes than Madison and Genevieve! I did 2000 n something! Next we did kicking for soccer. We had to try and kick in the goals from were the cone was. It was really hard to kick the balls into the goal! After that, we had goal keepers to try and kick the ball away from the goal. Next was the obstacle course! MY FAVORITE!!!! It was really fun! So first you had to bounce on the blue balloon all the way to the playground. Then you try to go under the yellow fish nets, then you grab a little ring hoop that has a knot, tied around the place! You had to untangle the hoop to get you to the black ropes. The black ropes its near the red bridge that leads you to flying fox... Which is also red... anyway! After you go across the black ropes you  jump over 5 Yellow cones. Then you go on the jungle bars (Which is Gray no Blue just gray) there are 4 jungle bars so you have to go across 4! After the jungle bars you hop on the mushrooms, there are about 3 of them and their color is Dark Red. Try not to fall on the bark or you get disqualified and go back to the Blue balloon to bounce on. Once you finish jumping on the mushrooms you go on the Silver ladder, Don't go through to tunnel go to the green slide or the Orange fire pole. Once someone is at the Green slide the other 2 kids have to do the same thing! after the pole or the slide you have to jump in these colored hoops. There are 5 hoops you have to jump into, when you've done you'll go and throw 3 Pink or Blue balls into 3 Green buckets full of bark and jump over 5 Orange bars. After the bars you have to climb over the Blue and Yellow rock climb. Then you have to run all the way back in the wet soggy mud. 
Next was the run we had to do the course 2 times around the whole school. I was pushing myself the whole time and I'm proud of that.

Hi! I’m Robbin, Robbin Sinclair!

My life was hard back when I was little… but when you grow up your life starts to get more clamer, easier, and gentle on you… and this is the story on how I learnt that.

It started In the morning, a Saturday morning, I woke up feeling foggy and weary, my tummy had grumbled, and I thought to myself, “That's why my tummy was making me feel sick”, I had toast before I went off to my friends house to go watch a movie that I knew that would make us entertained! I had to go back to my house, Once I got home my eyesight was blind, all I could see was a blur, I thought it was because I sat so close to the screen but no. so I went to sleep and got some rest, when I woke up I was in This place. I was Cold and tired...

I saw something… like a vision and a sign… and What I was thinking was “Is this all a dream? Or is it a run out?” I fell down! Next minute I was at a school! Called Hawkins Middle. Everything I touched was slimy, and had so many cobwebs. The minute I saw this weird alien is the minute I felt.. frozen, couldn’t move… not a single muscle! Finally I woke up! “That's not right…” I thought.

Honey it's time to go!” My parents Yelled. 

I started to see things after that, Visions, Smoke, And Peppa pig! Wait wrong thing! And These shiny weird White things. I got scared at first but then I started to think “It's coming after me” I sighed a lot, day after day, week after week.. I felt like I wasn't home anymore and I still  thought “Is this all a dream? Or is it a run out?” I prayed every night.. “Please help me Holy father I swear I must be having dreams!” Every night the same thing “Please Holy Father” Before sleeping, a Friends

house, and School… my life was upside down! I never thought I would be in that much danger! I mean!? Why me!?!  It isn't really fair- never mind. I just wanna feel safe like before. I faint, Have seizures, I ALMOST CHOKED ON THE WHITE THINGS! It could’ve got worse until my mum got it out of me, A police helped her find me.. last time I remember I was in a hospital. My friends visited me 

“T-Team eight?” I claimed, “We were worried sick!!” They cried all tougher, “blah blah blah blah- HEY I WAS GONNA SAY THAT, WE ALL AGREED” then they started fighting… I laughed! Then I coughed… that's when they stopped skirmishing over who said what… I was excited to go to school! I Thought People wouldn’t bully me anymore! But guess what? I was wrong... 

I got bullied anyways…. This is what I meant about “My life was hard back then…” They called me names… “Ghost girl!” they mocked me… “How was it being yelled at!?” THEY EVEN TOLD ME OFF FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T DO! I wasn't even there when they told me off…. “ROBBIN BROKE MY ARM!” I CAN’T EVEN BRAKE MINE! It wasn’t fair while growing… my friends forgot about me... but Bella-rosa and Losa-line are still my friends… I had a lot of.. Well.  untrusting friends… every sorry they said was a lie! why does everyone hate me so much? Just because You went to my school “funeral?” NO! If you died I would be sorry! It’s so sad when you dont wanna eat your food YOUR parents gave to you well… they are kids in africa if you wanna give it away!!!? It’s so impossible to give people another chance…

But there is always another chance for everybody who doesn’t give anybody their trust! Now back to my story…. During those years I got luckier! And luckier! I got to be a cherif! The youngest police! I got to make so many friends! AND I GOT A PUPPY! His name is Oakly! And I get to run a mall, named Star court! This is what it feels like! What I meant about calmer and gentle! This all happens because I ROBBIN OAKLY CHARLES SINCLAIR IS GHOST GIRL! I don’t know why I’m happy being ghost girl now! But then and now I still feel its.. touch…

So sickening! It feels like when you go down on a roller coaster ride.
